Found this really funny ad from the Twin Parents Association. I didn’t even know there was such a group until I saw the ad!

I was talking to Ody and Maan the other weekend and we were talking about how parents who have twins just love to dress them up the same way. They even end up with the same hairstyle or with slightly different variations of the same hairstyle. It does look cute for other people who see them, but you can just imagine the struggle for self-identity that they go through. If it is already difficult for us who were born alone, just imagine what twins have to go through to be known as individuals and not a collective or the “twin sister of…”. This ad ought to remind us that even if twins may look identical on the outside, they’re all different inside.

Having twins? Be prepared.
