LClock Desktop Software
Download LClock

I found out about this software when my bestfriend Marven came over and showed me the various gadgets he has in his laptop. This is one of it, and I’m making this as the Ang Peregrino Recommends for this week.

It’s called LClock. LClock is a very simple program that makes the Windows’ clock look like a Windows Longhorn Clock. It also comes with a simple but configurable popup calendar that opens when the systray clock is clicked. So there’s no more need to double click on the clock just to view the calendar in the “Date and Time Properties” dialog box.

It’s very lightweight (just around 1.30MB of memory space is needed) so it won’t interfere with any of your programs. You’ll really appreciate it when your friends come over and ask why your systray clock (the clock at the bottom-right of your screen) looks a little different from their own boring clocks.

Oh, and did I tell you that it’s freeware? :-)
