Ang Peregrino Recommends 26: Pray As You Go

This post is for my mom who is one of the regular readers of this blog. Pray-as-You-Go is a really cool website for those who want to pray but do not have the time, or those who are in need of a spiritual break, religious fix or devotional energizer (whew!) in the middle of a busy day.
It is by Jesuit Media Initiatives, which is like the British version of our JesCom here.
In the middle of a busy day, you can just strap your earphones, close your eyes, and link to (or download) the 10–15 minute wma (for those using windows) or mp3 (for everyone else). The file is usually composed of good classical or religious music, a reading for the day, and a guided reflection afterwards. You can also download a 4 minute guide for a centering/breathing exercise to start your prayer time, and an 8 minute review of the day that Jesuits call the examen.
I like it because it is canned, ready-made prayer and I do not have to think about preparations (although preparing is a good thing also when i’m not too busy). But Pray-As-You-Go is really a service for busy people.
For the great service made for busy working people like me, for the simple but provocative reflections, and for reminding me that all it takes is around 15 minutes a day to get back my center, Ang Peregrino Recommends Pray-As-You-Go this week.
