Wists is a free shop­ping wish­list ser­vice where users can cre­ate visual list of things they want or rec­om­mend from any online store or web­site. Wists works like book­mark­ing a web­page, except that users get to choose a thumb­nail image to asso­ciate with their book­mark, add a text sum­mary and a set of key­words with­out hav­ing to save and upload any­thing. Wists is par­tic­u­larly use­ful for things where images are impor­tant, such as clothes, gad­gets, house­hold items and auc­tions. You can use wists to have all your wish­lists in one place, from any store on the web.

How do you join Wists?

Wists couldn’t be sim­pler. You sign up (free), and you can choose between search­ing through the Wists com­mu­nity for good book­marks (and believe me, there’s some really awe­some stuff here), or, you can quickly drag and drop the Wists Tool­bar in order to book­mark items on the Web to your collection.

After adding the book­marklet to your browser, you can clip thumb­nail images and descrip­tions from shop­ping sites and share them on your Wists pages.

What can I do with Wists?

• Search the web visu­ally and book­mark search results.
• Cre­ate wish­lists, birth­day lists or wed­ding lists with pic­tures of prod­ucts from any store on the web.
• Cre­ate thumb­nail image gal­leries of your favorite things: books, movies cd’s, songs or photos.
• Web­site own­ers, use wists to embed an update­able gallery of prod­ucts or items that you rec­om­mend, within your web­site, match­ing its look and feel.
• Cre­ate a per­son­al­ized inbox where you can track items by user or key­word tags and add to your wists.
• Blog­gers. Make adding images and tags to your weblog posts as easy as book­mark­ing a webpage.
• Cre­ate com­mu­ni­ties around tags — have your friends on Wists use a par­tic­u­lar tag, so that you can all track cool prod­ucts and websites.
