This site is an inter­ac­tive art project by a good friend of mine (and mem­ber of my barkada, the Wednes­day Group) Fr. Jason Dy, SJ. He’s a great artist, and you might want to check out his web­site, Batik­Batik na Karik­tan (the title is a Fil­ip­iniza­tion of Ger­ard Man­ley Hop­kins’ poem Pied Beauty).

Guide­lines for sub­mis­sion:
1.Get your empty recy­cled bot­tles in the Sacred Heart Parish Office. Lim­ited bot­tles only. If we ran out of bot­tles, you may use your own empty recy­cled bot­tle of Sola Iced Tea. No other type of bot­tle is allowed.
2.Creatively use the bot­tle as a com­mem­o­ra­tive object of your beloved dead and/or put com­mem­o­ra­tive objects of your beloved dead e.g. pho­tographs, memen­tos, cards, let­ters, prayers, etc. inside the bot­tle.
3.Write a brief descrip­tion of your bot­tled mem­ory of your beloved dead.
4.Sign your bot­tles by writ­ing your name and con­tact num­bers at the bot­tom of the bot­tles.
5.Submit your bot­tled mem­o­ries to

6.Deadline of sub­mis­sion is on or before Octo­ber 29, 2009, Thurs­day.
7.Each sub­mit­ted bot­tled mem­ory will be posted at http://​inlov​ing​mem​o​ry2009​.blogspot​.com/.
8.After the exhibit, all bot­tled mem­o­ries are returned to the own­ers.
9.They are encour­aged to dis­play the bot­tled mem­o­ries of their beloved dead in a suit­able place within the home or office.
