Port­fo­lioMNL is a ded­i­cated job­site for all cre­ative indus­tries in the Philip­pines. The idea of a cre­ative job­search por­tal is noth­ing new — nev­er­the­less, Port­fo­lioMNL is pro­gres­sive, much like the duo behind it– Rina Mal­onzo and Trina Dela Rama.

Port­fo­lioMNL bridges the divide between artist and entre­prenuer. The web­site is exten­sive, yet easy to nav­i­gate. More­over, the design ele­gantly frames cre­atives’ cur­ricu­lum vitae and port­fo­lios while assur­ing clients that they’re among pro­fes­sion­als. Port­fo­lioMNL also fol­lows a join > search > click > share process, effec­tively becom­ing its own social media. And that, more than any­thing tells cre­atives and clients alike “Wel­come to the 21^st century.”

The web­site is the bridge between those who cre­ate the designs and those seek­ing cre­atives for their busi­nesses. Port­fo­lioMNL pro­vides both the cre­atives and busi­nesses with the tools they need to get their busi­ness done.

PORTFOLIO

How do i cre­ate a port­fo­lio?
To cre­ate a port­fo­lio you must first Join MNL and become a Cre­ative Mem­ber. Once you’ve joined, Sign-in and go to Edit My Port­fo­lio (within My Account).

How many port­fo­lio entries can i upload?
A free Basic Port­fo­lio can accom­mo­date up to 30 types of media (images, videos, and music files). Image res­o­lu­tion up to 1mb, video res­o­lu­tion up to 10mb and music MP3 for­mat up to 5mb.

Can I share my port­fo­lio with non-MNL mem­bers?
Yes. Port­fo­lios are designed for per­sonal mar­ket­ing, within and beyond Port­fo­lioMNL. To invite peo­ple to view your port­fo­lio, click on the Share but­ton to send a link to your portfolio.

Can every­one see my per­sonal infor­ma­tion?
Only MNL mem­bers can access per­sonal infor­ma­tion. To view other mem­bers’ per­sonal infor­ma­tion, you must first cre­ate a port­fo­lio by upload­ing a min­i­mum of 3 media.

What is a Visual Resume?
The visual resume is a unique fea­ture of Port­fo­lioMNL which allows you to anchor an image to each Expe­ri­ence entry. Go to Edit My Port­fo­lio (within My Account) to upload images to your Resume.

What is the Busi­ness Card?
The busi­ness card con­tains your con­tact infor­ma­tion: name, com­pany name, spe­cial­iza­tion, email address and phone num­ber. The data you pro­vide increases your search-ability in Search for Cre­atives. Be found by the Skills you select, and by your first and last names.

Search for Cre­atives results are dis­played via busi­ness cards. Upload an image for your busi­ness card to stand out from the rest of the crowd. If you choose not to upload an image, the default with dis­play a Port­fo­lioMNL logo, mak­ing it more dif­fi­cult to spot you. Go to Edit My Port­fo­lio (within My Account) to update your busi­ness card.

SEARCH FOR CREATIVES

How do I find the tal­ent I’m look­ing for?
Sim­ply go to Search for Cre­atives. To yield a large num­ber of results, do a broad search by select­ing only one cri­te­ria. To nar­row down the results, add more cri­te­ria such as a com­bi­na­tion of Skill and Indus­try or Avail­abil­ity, such as Free­lance or Full-time. If you know the person’s name, type their name in the search field on the bot­tom left of the page.

How will I be found in the search results?
The search func­tion is gen­er­ated from tag cri­te­ria cho­sen in your Busi­ness Card and Search Opti­mizer, located in Edit My Portfolio.

I’m a mem­ber but I still can’t view the per­sonal infor­ma­tion of artists?
To view other mem­bers’ per­sonal infor­ma­tion, you must first cre­ate a port­fo­lio by upload­ing a min­i­mum of 3 media.
