Ateneo, songs that capture my state of mind »
One of my all-time favorite songs. There’s supposed to be a great story behind the song — George Canseco was supposed to have written this for his dying wife. But even without the story, you’ll feel just by listening to it, that there is great love behind the song. The lyrics and the melody is haunting and makes you fall in love over and over again.
And I love how the University of Pardubice Czech Choir and the Ateneo Glee Club “conspired” to come up with this wonderful version. I …

And so we lost a game we could have won.
And we just dug ourselves into a deeper hole. We face UST next for the right to face La Salle for the right to face UE.
I read Quinito Henson’s article WHY UE IS SITTING PRETTY and I couldn’t help but feel that they really do deserve to win this year. In the same way that UST deserved to win last year.
So it’s UST again with their never-say-die spirit. I hope our spirit is just as tough. …

She had to ask my dad several …

It’s during heartbreakers like what we had the other day that our school song is proved true:
“Win, or Lose, it’s the school we choose.”
Yes Lei, God forgot to wear blue last Monday. Or probably He was too busy keeping the rains out. As Doug Kramer said, “God must have other plans …

This video was recorded in the great live concert by Jose Feliciano and the famous Vienna Simphony Orchestra in 1987 in Vienna Danube park in front of 60.000 people.
While I was writing my papers for two classes, heard this song being sung by a choir. I think they were performing/practicing in Eliazo.
Made me remember so many things. Haha. Senti trip.
But mushy things aside, this song is the theme of the movie Ice Castles (this was my mom’s generation’s version of our generation’s Cutting Edge). It was the story of an …
