The Eternal Battle of the Mind and the Heart
Got this from Maan’s blog. Hmmm. Really true. Or at the very least, it’s something to think about. People have told me to always follow my heart. And indeed many of my decisions have been “heart” decisions. At the same time, every decision I’ve made have been well thought out–discerned. I don’t make decisions blindly. Or at least not without enough data to come up with something tentative at the very least. Data is all we have. And indeed knowing is half the battle won. But we …

Random Thoughts about Countryside
I went out with my highschool and college barkada last night. We had a great time. I haven’t seen some of them in a long time. I passed by Loyola House, and since I missed the Jesuits so much, I passed by the Father’s Rec Rm. They were kinda surprised to see me, but they welcomed me just the same. Dahil Ikaw– True Faith
The Taiwan earthquake somehow freezed the internet servers here in the country. Until now, I couldn’t access my Friendster. But anyway, things have been great with me the past weeks.
I spent New Year alone in my pad. The Makati skyline was great. I could see the grand display of fireworks in the Greenbelt area (Oakwood is just straight out my window) and from a distance, I could see the great 30 minute fireworks extravaganza of the Mall of Asia/Baywalk area. It was a great “transition” experience to be spending New Year …

Children See. Children Do.
Been out of circulation for awhile. I went home to Cagayan de Oro for Christmas. I had a great time there. It just feels great to be with people who love you unconditionally.
Before that, I got to meet some people I REALLY LOVE. I haven’t seen them in a long long time, and it was just so great to finally see them in “my new state of life”. They said I haven’t changed. As if an “ontological” change is supposed to be evident after all this. I don’t know. …
