You Know Better than I
I fell in love with this song the moment I heard it. And when we had lunch with Gary V several years ago and he mentioned that this was one of his favorite songs as well (and we asked him to sing it to us), I fell in love with it again. I think Gary sang this song in the wedding of Mike and Ange, two friends of mine. I don’t know if he got to do his own version in an album though.

I heard this in a Side A concert several years ago. I know it’s not their song, but I loved their version. The other day, I was driving through EDSA and heard this song again over the radio. It reminded me of a life that was more simple, less complicated.

Blast from the Recent Past: Constant Change
Just the other day, my officemates discussed the movie Toy Story 3 over lunch. I haven’t had the chance to watch it, but they were all raving about it. For some reason, and buoyed by the conversation about Toy Story, we started talking about change. And for some strange reason, we started talking about this particular song by Jose Mari Chan. The song accompanied the discussion and I just had to write about it now.

Same Ground by Kitchie Nadal
This was a song I became quite enamored with several years ago. I’ve always loved Kitchie’s songs. It helped that when I lived in Makati, Kitchie lived in the same building. But besides that, I love her songs because of the beauty of its lyrics.
